Mine is located under left side of dash. Just over the clutch pedal. Notice that i have an old SAAB. I believe that newer models have APC-unit situated in engine-compartment. Their APC is also more complicted as it controls both pressure and ignition advance. Mine (85' unit) only cares about knocking noise and turbo pressure. Have fun.
