I have a 1993 9000 CSE 2.0 LPT. The CS is a nice spacious and solid car, but at that vintage it may need replacement of DI cassette. The 2.3 had balancer shafts since 92 model year, the 2.0 started with balancer shafts in 1994. However, I don't think the balancer shafts makes much difference for the 2.0; it adds to complexity and costs when replacing the timing chain. The non-balancer shaft engine in my 2.0 LPT is very smooth.
