I have a muffled clunking noise coming from the front end of my 1984 900S, 117K mi. Seems a little more pronounced over bumps, but sometimes it will do it a little on flat road as well. Doesn't seem to originate form either wheel area, just generally from the front, underneath. It handles/drives fine. Ball joints maybe? How much do they cost? Also, someone mentioned earlier about a switch to turn off the EXH light, which came on about a week ago and is very annoying. I plan to get a full tune up within the next few months, I haven't done this since buying the car a year ago. But I'd like to kill the light in the mean time. I couldn't find a switch anywhere around the steering column. Any suggestions? Funny timing, shortly after reading about seat sag here, my seat caved in on me. I felt like I was sitting in a hole on the floor. I'm temporarily using pillows, but will probably fix it eventually. Prolly just try to find a new seat at a junk yard. Anyway, thanks for any help on the questions. -jw
