I have used those tires on a couple of cars and love the wet and dry handling. As a matter of fact, I just bought a set for my wife's A4 quattro. However, they do give up a little snow and ice traction compared to pure winter tires. Since you live in a severe climate I recommend you get something more focussed toward snow traction. A set of one of the Nokian winter models would do nicely, studded if allowed by law. Don't get Blizzacks - they wear out quickly. And you certainly don't need an H speed rating for winter use. http://www.dias.net/~greerent/index.html http://www.nokiantyres.com/indexen.html John Davies Monroe WA USA
