After that, you have to pay. It is very quick - 5 minutes or so, but it does require the special Tech II tool to access the on-board computer network. If your's is a manual transmission car, consider having the Up Shift light disabled....SaabNet's 9-5 Forum has discussed this recently. You might want to browse through those posts. I had this done to my 9-5, as well as reprogramming the door locks to lock when the car starts to move, and the driver's door to unlock when the key is removed. Also I had the fog lights reprogrammed to operate independently of the headlights. This took no more than 10 minutes from the time the service rep grabbed his box, until he smiled and said he was finished. John Davies Monroe WA USA
