My 900 had an annoying rattle on the dash too, took me ages to find it. If I open the door there's 2 flat ends to the dash that sit flush with the doors, this flat bit is like a piece of overhang plastic and when I tap it it makes this rattle, so that's what it is, it only does it on one side because the gap must be just 'annoyingly' right to make the noise. I just pushed a bit of paper in the gap and voila, gone. Might be the same on yours, might not ?
