The chain should be good for a long time. The serp belt should be replaced on every car at no more than 50K. The NG has the added issue of the idler pulleys which can go unexpectedly, so replace those too (only $80 in parts). I don't know which seal you are referring to, but while they have the tranny out I'd have them do the rear main engine seal and the tranny input seal. Both can go. Also have them check the clutch. If you have a lot of wear, have it done so you don't pay the labor twice. Bob
