But it ONLY starts when I first start up the A/C, and it lasts for about 5-10 seconds. That's it. Then it goes away. But for the past 3 days, I haven't noticed the smell.... So I don't quite know what to make of it My friend from got a new 2001 BMW 3-series convertible, and she has had the same problem since she got the car. And it doesn't go away. BMW has no idea what it is. They told her that the smell would go away in time. > One of the Saab reps told me that to truly address the problem, they'd > have to tear out the dash and replace or clean the airbox and/or > heater core? Really?? Couldn't you just change the air filter or something? -- Marc Escuro mgescuronopsam.com http://home.att.net/~bryesquire "...when all hope is gone, you know sad songs say so much..."
