I These are Clarion units that fit the Clarion head unit that the Saab factory installed in your 900S. The 9-5 has a custom designed head unit manufactured by Pioneer and that head unit requires a custom designed Pioneer CD Changer[0]. There are no aftermarket units that will fit. The CD changer is special as there is no dedicated communications link between the head unit and the changer, they use one of the communication networks (CAN bus) in the car to talk to each other, and the changer is not allowed to use the network unless the changer is married[1] to the car. [0] You can use ordinary 6-disk Pioneer cartridges. [1] The changer has to be married[2] to the car using a Tech-II tool. A changer that has been removed from a car without a divorce[2] will not be able to marry another car, it has to be brought back to the original car for the divorce[3]. [2] Yes, this is the terms Saab use for this. [3] Reducing the risk of theft. -- G–ran Larsson Senior Systems Analyst hoh AT approve DOT se
