Hi all, Today I spent $400 on four Toyo Proxes FZ4 tires for my 1995 Saab 900SE Turbo Convertible. The mechanic said that all four wheels were bent. Not bad enough to be a safety hazard, but he just wanted to let me know. This got me started looking on the web for aftermarket wheel ideas. But I'm confused by all the numbers! The tires are: 205/50R16 91V rating On Toyo's website it says Rim width range is: 5.5/6.5/7.5 What do you get by going with the different sizes? Also, the guy where I bought the tires said that Saab's are very particular when it comes to wheels. By that, he means they're hard to fit sometimes. Was he just trying to make a sale, or are they that finicky? Or would any wheel rated at 16x6.5, that has 5 bolts and 110mm measurement work? Lastly, can anyone suggest a reputable online store, or a brick-and-morter location in the San Francisco Bay Area? Robert robertjmnopsameyhockeyhockey.com
