I would also suggest "Touchless" Car Washes, as they don't scratch your car at all. But you're right, they do use very harsh soaps. And sometimes, you will have a slight film on your car with the "Touchless" car washes. You might also find a local "hand car wash/detailer" place. They are very expensive, but they can be very good. A friend of mine has a black Integra, and continually uses the hand car wash/detailer place all the time, and his car barely has a scratch. But you will pay for it though.
