I've dealt with this on other vehicles and believe that th eonly way to get rid of it is through replacing the entire brake system (rotors, pads, anything else at that level). It may be linked to the power assist system, but if one set (front/rear) gets warped then the others are (in my somewhat limited experience). My problem came back after a few months which makes me think that you might be right on the power assist as that would be independent. I've also heard that if you leave your foot on the break after a long braking session (e.g. use your brakes all the way down a mountain and then exit the freeway and sit at a red light with your foot on the brake) you will heat up the part of the break under the pad and it will expand and then when you use the brakes next it will hit that part first effectively milling it down and warping the rotor. So, if at all possible don't keep your foot on the brake at a stop light after a long period of braking. YMMV, Greg
