Or drive it gently home if neccesary and leave it for 24 hours. The compound is very soft when applied and the windscreen can even fly off at heavy braking. They either fit windscreen on the road or at workshop. I took my car to the fitting workshop since I guessed that they would have more skills and tools available, and be less in a hurry. In general, you shouldn't worry too much provided that a reasonable experienced operator does the job. Windscreen replacement is a very common event. Johannes
