Brian, a common cause of starting problems on diesels is air leaking into the fuel line. Have you had it serviced recently ? Fuel filter changed ? I have had a Peugeot 309, 405 and 406 all diesels and the only starting problems I have had have been air leaks. Tony Clewes (But I am looking for a diesel 9-3 !)
