I own a 2001 9-3 Viggen Convertible. I love the car but I would like more horsepower and more control of the front end. I have talked extensively with Don Gregson Jr. at Wigwam Saab. They sell the Nordic system. He said that the Nordic system on a Viggen Convertible, which consists of progressive rate springs, stainless cat back exhaust, and reprogrammed ecu 280HP - 300ft/lb, is the best handling Saab that he has ever driven. I am considering that system or similar systems by MapTun, or Abbott. Has anyone out there had anything done to their Viggen? I would be interested to know how the car handles the extra HP. How is the car as a daily driver? I am looking for handling refinement without a harsh go-cart like ride. Is there such a system out there? Does anyone have the Abbott Viggen Rescue kit installed on their car? How has it changed the handling dynamics of your car? Are you pleased with the results? Was it worth the money?
