After 5 BMW's - most of my 'ULTIMATES' were nightmares (blown engine on perfectly maintained convertible with 60,000 miles), I bought a Saab. My first of very many, I hope. If you EVER consider buying a BMW, please save yourself. Here's some facts that probably won't shock anyone. http://www.infocastle.com/bmw/ Back to our real ultimate driving machine; My wife loves our Saab convertible in every respect. It looks better than the BWM, out performs it, handles better, has just as many toys, and it just seems to go like a bat out of hell. We had a few service issues, the most major was a ground connection that was ommited during assembly, but the dealership gave us another Saab to drive while they fixed ours. From all the shopping I've done, my belief is that the best value in any european car, is a slightly used Saab (1999-2000 models). The price is half it's competion and the quality double. That's my 2 cents ....
