When I replaced my fuel pump, the shop > checked my VIN, as Saab used several different fuel pumps on the same model and > engine at various times in the same year - so one size does not fit all when it > comes to fuel pumps. well, i dont know about a Saab fuel pump, but i know there are Bosch and Walgro pumps which are not interchangeable. i had a bosch pump, i went to the bosch store and they told me the part is no longer availible or produced bla bla bla and they ordered a compatible one from italy. i will check the fuel line and so today anyways. besides that this problem doesnt seem dangerous , just annoying, bye simon putz
