Check (or better yet, have a dealer or independent *Saab* mechanic check): - easy operation of the clutch. Stiff means that you need a cable (cheap) or a clutch (less likely but expensive). This is a *manual* clutch, so it _will_ be stiffer than most cars. - look for oil leaks _underneath_ near the tranny. That would be either a driveshaft seal or a rear main seal. - look for any leaks around the front of the headgasket. - check for vibration when driving, particularly when accelerating briskly (not wide open, just briskly). - check for vibration at any particular speed range.
