It's actually not bad to learn, Bob. It's very much like Norwegian or Danish, but with worms in the speaker's mouth. In reality, though, it helps to say the words, and listen to yourself. If you know any other Germanic language besides English, you'll be surprised at how easy it is to read technical Swedish (as opposed to conversational Swedish which is full of slang and idiom). Listen to how the words sound, and you'll hear what they mean. Sounds strange, but try it. Dave Hinz
