That is absolutely nothing compared with what happened to my previous car, a 1988 9000 turbo, in 1995. At 223000 km (139000 miles) one of the front springs broke. As this happened late in the evening I couldn't leave the car at the local dealer until the next morning. When I picked it up later the same day the dealer simply refused to charge any money for the repair (they gave me an invoice with dashes instead of numbers in the "Amount" column).
