That is, big block tires get noisier as they wear since one edge of the block wears more. Turning them around will allow the wear to even out and allegedly reduce the noise. If you were to do this, you would do it every 5K miles, like tire rotation. I make no claims as to what it does to performance or safety, use at your own risk. Bob
