It's tough. Here in the US it definitely is tough. Automatics are very popular here. Too popular. As someone else who enjoys used vehicles (let someone else take the depreciation hit, thank you!) I am gladdened that the new transmissions are getting better in the higher end cars. This means that in a few years while we won't have many more manual transmissions, we sure will have better autos! :)
