New seat, new sliding > mechanism/longer headrest legs / spinal reduction surgery? The seats in the 9-5 with lumber I find mildly uncomfortable, the passenger seat WITHOUT lumbar sems comfortable. As this is my wife's car, it works out just fine for me! :) An extreme consideration, but cheaper than you might think, is to replace the seats with something you *do* like. Also for long waisted folk, like me and you, you can slide the seat forward, and tilt the seat back a little bit - can do wonders for overall comfort, and if done right can improve the driving position a lot. If you are already doing this, then never mind! :)
