The July issue of Automobile Magazine (www.automobilemag.com) briefly mentions that the General (GM) is increasingly frustrated with Saab. Too slow to-turn-around on it's own; hence, the simple slap-a-badge onto the Chevy SUV. And the Saabaru may only be a cosmetic "Saab"; the console ignition is too costly and too complicated; even interior upgrades may be ignored... . A dignified death isn't in the cards for Saab. -- J.E. Harris '01 9-3 SE '97 900 SE '88 9000T R.I.P.
