Every manual I've seen for the > last two decades or so of production has listed NGK. What year/model/ > engine/market? i had a 9000i 2.0 and if i remember correctly the manual recommends NGK BPC5ES plugs, no word about bosch. i heard from people that the bosch platinums dont perform worse than the NGK plugs in the NA engine. but they are surely not neccessary and wont give you any benefit. to the OP: everything of the Ignition/Injection system on your car is made by bosch, just the plugs are made by NGK. think about it, saab must have thought about something. absolute no-no are Bosch Platinums in turbo engines! just original NGK dont accept substitutes bye simon
