I think that's what I did on the 1995 9000CS LPT. Haven't been driving much and been distracted when I am. Getting ready to move next week, just bought a condo. Noticed yesterday that it was revving very high in first, then tonight it started doing it in second, then third, then died. Letting in the clutch with the car in first doesn't do anything. Noticed a burning smell and car was running hotter, but I think the thermostat is stuck. Was towed to the mechanic who won't be open until Monday. This happened an hour after I had to get a tow truck out for a jump start because tries by my neighbors couldn't get it started. Got the battery replaced and it was fine, except for the overrevving. I thought at first it was a bad muffler. If I took my foot off the gas it would calm down and then "catch" -- at least until it died complete. Motor is running, car revs fine, clutch just doesn't do anything. So what kind of money am I looking at in US dollars? Any way to keep costs down or that I should have done at the same time? lauraknospamousergraphics.com http://www.madmousergraphics.com web design, print design, photography
