The dealers wanted between 300-500 US dollars just for the labor ($85-100 per hour depending on the place, they all said "it will take at least 3 hours"). My dad and I did it in less than an hour, including a short lunch break. I followed the installation instructions that came with the hitch and had no trouble at all. The instructions were a little vague on some points because they seemed to be written for mechanics who are obviously pretty familiar with the car already. In the end, I saved a ton of money, didn't have to give my car up for a day, and got some satisfaction by doing something myself.
