Well, it's up against the firewall, and you don't have room for your arms. Or to get a socket in there. Plus, it's something like 130 foot pounds of torque, to apply at a bad angle in a bad location. It's easier with the engine out, for acopule of reasons, but that's a hassle too. That pulley is right up there with doing steering rack work on a c900 in PITA points. Dave Hinz
