About a week ago I was at a large beach party in Los Angeles, CA and someone asked me what the heck was I driving. I told them that it was the SAAB 92x and the entire crowd of 40 plus people all turned and said in unison, "a SAAB 92-whaaah?!"

So SAAB obviously hasn't gotten the word out too much about this car. I was a bit surprised the guy who worked at Honda and the guy who worked at Toyota had never hear of the 92x, but that seemed to be the case.

Anyway, it sounds like GM/SAAB is planning on killing the 92x after the 2007 model year. I am just amazed by how poorly GM is run, instead of learning from their mistakes they just keep jumping from short term fix to short term fix. I think if GM/SAAB gave the 92x the SAAB interior and the Delphi magna ride active shock system, the car would be a homerun winner. Thoughts?
