Yes, that is about it. I suggest also purchasing the rubber grommet and plastic PCV fitting which are inserted in the valve cover. Some people have had these parts break while removing them and the parts are pretty inexpensive.
If you haven't recently replaced the PCV hoses buy those also. All the PCV hoses, particularly the smallest one going to the throttle body, are prone to rotting after a few years.
Have a rubber mallet or similar instrument of destruction available to rap the valve cover HARD - multiple times - to break it loose from the head. I was surprised how firmly it was affixed.
I used gasket dressing to hold the valve cover gasket into the groove on the valve cover. I expected to only place a few dabs, but had to place a small bead all around the cover to hold the gasket in place. Others have used high-temp black RTV for this purpose.
Note if any bolts were loose when you remove them. I never had any oil or coolant leaks on my engine and it appeared all bolts were sufficiently tight, greater than 40 ft-lbs, when I removed them. Others have found the same thing. Leaky engines are almost guaranteed to have loose bolts.
