I haven't seen a 06/07 in white but expected it would like nice.

The only styling thing that really bothers me about my 2006 is the instrument gauges. The basic layout is good; better than most cars. But they just look tacky. The silver around the gauges is worse than fake chrome trim; it looks like cheap poorly painted silver plastic which is exactly the case. Ealier 9-5s and other Saabs did the gagues much much better and I really liked the old speedos in particular. Bring back the old gauges Saab! I don't understand why they would take such a major step in the wrong direction. The fact it is staring back at me means it frequently comes to mind.

At least they don't have hash marks every 2.5 mph on the speedo like some cars (e.g., VW and Volvo) or numbers only every 20 mph (e.g, like Subie!). So maybe I could consider myself lucky. I also prefer the round 3 gauge clusters Saab uses over the round 2 gauge clusters of a number of other makes.

The front end styling is over baked but no big deal to me. I seldom aproach the car from the front and from behind the wheel where the smiling is happening I can't see it anyway.
