Thanks much. I am looking into cheaper cats, but I can't wait for shipping. I'm catching rides to and from work and I can't go anywhere else, not even food shopping.

My insurance company paid for collision. They would have given me more if they could take the car, but I priced out (at the time) what it would cost for me to even get certified pre-owned and it was cheaper to get her repaired. Though I love the car and had only had her for about 1.5 years at the time of the accident, it was not a completely emotional decision. Had she been hit in the front, I would have let her go, but the damage was towards the rear of the driver side and getting the dash fixed due to airbag deployment.

After driving a 1996 Honda Passport prior to obtaining Sage, I was not yet ready to jump into a vehicle I hated so soon. Sometimes pleasures in life are few, I would at least like to drive something I like if I'm going to go work for someone else everyday. And I've never had a car that I loved years after driving it.

There is no question that, for loving the car, I have to deal with the Devil though. Cost of maintenance and repair is horrible on my peuny(sp?) little salary. Many have said, "Why don't you get a car that matches your salary?" Because they wouldn't like dealing with me if I did!" I have been spoiled by driving my 9 5, true. But I am glad that there is something in my life that is indeed spoiling me, as the rest is crap.

I have 3 more years to pay for this car accident. I can't afford to replace the car meanwhile. When the time comes, I will look into what Saab is offering for inventory, service, gas mileage, and features and make my decision then. But for now, it's a dance with the Devil.
