My experience with camber bolts...

They wouldn't work. Essentially they are undersized bolts with a fat center portion, allowing enough slop to allow the steering knuckle to pivot on the lower strut mounting bolt. Except with them being undersized, there wasn't enough clamping load for it to hold alignment.

What The Saaab Store (in Tampa) did for me (as they have done for others with 9000s, NG900/9-3s, and 9-5s) is slightly grind the upper mounting hole in the strut elliptical, so camber can be adjusted just as with the camber bolts, but using the larger, original bolts. They grind only in the direction in needs to go to bring the alignment back to spec, so even if it slips, it gets no worse than it was.

I asked about enlarging the holes where the top of the strut bolts to the fender, and they said they were very reluctant to grind on the body, as it creates the potential for corrosion on the structure. Grinding on the strut mounting holes, they are risking only a part that gets replaced from time to time anyways.

Theoretically, the increased camber setting (created in part by lowering the suspension) improves handling, but I haven't noticed any changes with the new setting.
