If you've been following any of my posts I have been having some weird temp gauge things going on. The gauge goes way up after turning the car off and stuff, blah blah blah... I had an appt. to have some diagnostic work done on it but the day before was 94 degrees on the SID and I hammered the crap out of the engine with A/C on going up the hills to my house. Revving to 5000 rpm in sport mode (cringing as the gas needle glides down). Turn the car off. The temp gauge goes nowhere but down. So I canceled my appt. The next day it was in the 80s and it still did it. Today I'm driving around the the tamp gauge goes totally dead. Cold. There was no CEL though and I got heat out of the vents. Turned the car off, restarted and it jumped to the middle again. Failing temp sensor maybe? Maybe that's why I get such sporadic overheating and stuff. Temp sensor has already been replaced at 132k miles in March, 2003. The car now has 178k miles. Thanks.
