On the (front) valve cover, there is a legend that, when read from standing in front of the car, reads like this (more or less...):
( 1 ) ( 3 ) ( 5 )
( 2 ) ( 4 ) ( 6 )
Reading this, I take it to mean that cylinders 1, 3 & 5 are the rear bank, and 2, 4 & 6 are the front. I would also infer that "bank 1" would then be the rear bank, and "bank 2" the front.
I just hope they don't do the computer standard of "0" and "1"...
Swap the two cassettes, and see if the problem moves.
