my 2001 9-5 lpt (2.3l)(B235E) started smoking in early december, when I opened the hood I saw smoke coming from the corner of the head. I checked the torque on the head bolts and they were tight. So I removed head and replaced head gasket.
started it up and the smoke had changed colors to blueish white. and it was dumping oil out of the exhaust. So I replaced the turbo, at the same time I pulled the oil pan to fix a small crack and to check for sludge...No sludge, fixed crack. put everything back. Started motor and was still smoking, I was not concerned as I have read it can take up to an hour to burn off old oil. Then I noticed oil pouring out of the rear of the engine. I cannot see where it is coming from, I have felt around the oil pan seal and it seems fine, could I have knocked of something like the intake tube partially? or are there other things I could have knocked into or broken? Breather pipes? I am looking for any advice before I crawl onto the oiling driveway under my car. The oil splashes and pours out when the engine is running. thanks
