First off let me say this, I love the look’s and drive of the 9-5 Aero, took one on a couple of test drives, but…...

My neighbors cars are as follows; 2000 Saab Aero, 2002 Saab Wagon (not sure of model), two 2000 BMW 528i (one’s belongs tome), 2000 Infiniti (not sure of model), 2001 Saab SE convertible, a 2000 Acura (not sure of model) and a 2001 Audi A6. All problem free but the Saab’s.

I’M NOT JOKING WHEN I SAY my three (3) neighbors that own Saab’s have their cars in the shop constantly. It seems like on a monthly basis I see a flatbed truck with one of their cars on the back coming down the street or a loaner in the driveway. My next door neighbor states his car has been in the shop on an average of 4 days a month since he bought it and another neighbor that owns the convertible had the car break down (just “shutdown” in his words) twice on a trip from Ohio to Florida and once on the return trip to Ohio two months later. Not sure of the specific problems but ….WOW.

Not taking a deliberate shot a Saab. But, is quality actually that bad? Just looking for input.
