After some break-in, and adjusting the tire pressure to SAAB's recommendations for winter tires [initially, I had them inflated way too high], the handling on dry pavement with my Gislaveds has improved markedly.

On the highway, they are very stable all the way up to 100 mph, and they're remarkably quiet at that speed [but don't take them faster!--they're only speed rated to 100 mph].

In abrupt manuevers, however, they feel a little bit rubbery and they're a bit slow to react. I think that's to be expected though, with rugged snow tires such as these. A small price to pay, since grip in the snow is top notch. Wet grip is excellent as well, much better than Blizzaks I've tried on other cars, and almost as good as the Aero's stock Primacy tires!

I have the 205 width Gislaveds but I think the 215s might be better suited to the Aero. The 205s feel squirmy under the force of full acceleration of 250 hp...

The SAAB/BBS/Gislaved wheel & winter tire package, at roughly $825 to $850, is a great deal!
