OK, My 2k Aero had something like this, though not a pronounced. Here's my fix:

Make sure the timing chain is adjusted and tight to factory spec. Your dealer or indy can do this. That takes the slop out of the timing chain, making the car easier to diagnose.

Next, use good gas and injector cleaner (looks like you've got that covered). You Saab likes good gas. I use Red Line injector cleaner (Pep Boys or mail order)

Next, get a can of carb cleaner (NOT brake cleaner or parts cleaner or anything else... just the stuff designed to go down a carb) and open up the hood. You'll see the air intake tube on your right, heading from the front driver's side (turbo intercooler, where hot turbo air is turned into slightly less hot air) to the top center. You'll need to remove the dress-up cover from around the oil filler neck to see it.

Loosen the clamp from around the base of the plastic intake and pop it off to the right. You'll see the intake butterfly valve just inside the throttle body.

Stop! Look at the area around the butterfly. Is it gunked up with crud, like a ring around a bathtub? Probably, if this is the first time anyone's been in there for 60k. Anything not the color of shiny metal is wrong.

Stop! Use a soft item to hold the butterfly valve open a ways while you hose the intake down with your carb cleaner. Don't use a screwdriver, or metal screw, or your hand in there. Make a good coice of something that won't scar the metal and DEFINATLY won't fall in. A wedge shaped piece of hard foam or tubing will work. I used a piece of irrigation tubing with a big cap on it.

Spray the throttle body down good. The gunk will disappear quickly. Give it five minutes, then do it again. Give it another 10 minutes, then button things up and start the car. It'll start hard and idle rough for a few minutes, but then be fine.

Also, if you're at it, check the spark plugs for proper type and gap. Non-Aero should have NGK copper plugs gapped at 1mm or just a bit smaller, and Aeros should have NGK platinum plugs at the same gap.

Good luck!
