The night before I flew out, I put a new ignition key cylinder in and ignition switch. The ignition switch was bad and I replaced the cylinder just for good measure since I had the whole console torn apart.
I ended up pulling the fuse for the cornnering lights. This seemed to cure the headlights/radio comming on when you signal left. I did not put the fuse back in yet since I finnished the job at 12:30am and I was leaving for the airport at 5:30am. The only thing I did notice was that the left white light below the yellow turn signal light was about twice as bright as the right. I'm just praying that I never noticed this before and it is just a brighter bulb. Probably not but I can pray right? As for the ground points, I located one I think in the engine bay and is looked just fine. I wiggled the wire(s) and they were not dirty or rusted any. I believe that they are definetly getting a good connection.
The other thing that maybe the problem which I am getting closer and closer to accept, is the stalk. I am probably/definity getting a Bently manual for my 18th b-day on the 20th, so I'll take a look at the wiring diagrams then.
Appreciate your concern! :-)
What is your views on road salt rust? Theysay it only snows here for about 3-6 weeks out of the year, and then on and off after then.
