Hi All.

Thanks to Paul Bob on the Turbo! list I have solved the cold start idle hunt on my 1986 900T. He gave me the solution which he said was an Nines article sometime in the early 1990s.

Here it is:
This is for c900 with the LH2.2 -005 AMM

All you need to do is solder a 680 ohm 1/4-1/2 watt resistor in series with the NTC sensor (betw intake runners for 2 & 3). This fools the ECU into thinking that the engine is a bit colder than it is. In TX summer every morning it is 70-75 and the car would have a serious idle hunt/stall session until warm when the O2 sensor takes over.

Paul also mentioned that a new AMM meter might fix this, but would probably start doing the same thing in 6 months.

I love the simple fixes. Actually it took me longer to find the resistor in our collection here than to do the mod.
