Well I finally took the plunge and bought and SPG. Knowing saabs I had it checked out by a mechanic before I even got my hopes up and for the most part the car turned out fine (needs new belts, shocks, brake pads, and some other fairly easy to do stuff). However, on the way back home after I bought the car I encountered a problem I've never heard about before with saabs. As I accelerate the car seems to "buck", almost the opposite of when a car hesitates. Needless to say this is quite aggravating and I am pulling my hair out trying to run down the problem. So far I've changed the plugs, air filter (K&N....hellz yeah), and fuel filter. The car is now driveable but still bucks a bit upon acceleration.

A little more info....When accelerating the car won't work it's way up into higher RPM's very smoothly. In fact, when at a stand still, I'll rev it and it'll do the same thing. Since this is my first turbo, I don't really know how the boost should look but it seems decidely funny, because it'll the gauge reads it as only boosting about halfway into the yellow arc.

Any ideas as to what is happening? The mechanic who checked it out said that it had a 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator when in fact it should be a 2.5 bar. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a performance upgrade?
