Hey guys

well here's the deal..

I took the 6 SPG panels off of my cousin's 89 900S w/SPG kit since they are in near perfect condition...

I'm having an airflow kit installed, body color matched Talladega Red, so the panels will need painted red as well.

The paint shop guy is simply going to paint my cousin's SPG panels that I left in the trunk of my car, and put them back in the trunk for me to install. He's going to install the painted airflow bumpers and airflow arches too. (I bet it will look quite odd with the red bumpers and grey panels when I pick it up!)

Here's the question...
When I was taking the panels off my cousin's car, the door panel was pop riveted into place. Are all SPGs like this? Just the center door panel. Or did the body shop who install the SPG panels on his 900S do that?

I want to be able to remove my old grey ones and pop the freshly painted ones on easily, to avoid and scratches, etc... I really don't want to have to use the drill to drill out those pope rivets, and I don't have my own personal pop rivet gun to put the panel back on either. Plus the little rubber gasket on the inside of the door falls off if you drill out the pop rivets. The biggest problem is that I'll be getting home the evening of March 16th, and I will have that night only to have the panels installed, ready to show the car the next day at SAABs@Carlilse. ( :

What do you think? Any advice?

Any help!
Thanks guys!
Taylor

RIP Kyle & Tim
