you did not say where you are. Or whether you've cruised the local dismantlers/junk yards.

Try googling "used saab parts" and have a look. The dismantlers know about the interchange stuff (and if you are clever with questions, you can discover it...like I did with my 86 Jeep PU which also needs a door, so instead of $250 I can grab one off a station wagon at the local yard for $50)

The specialty yards charge more, sometimes lot more than a "you take it off, but it it is the wrong thing, we are sorry but too bad". Like the place in Sacramneto, CA (800-70-9970) where I bought a 900 2.1 16V head last weekend and they will give some kind of warranty for fitment. (I have no association with this yard other than being a 1-time customer)

sorry I can't be more specific, but I hope this info will lead you to more instructive information.
