You'd have to think that all of our cars must have come from some original owner, do you think thats why there is such a public distain for Saabs, because some guy intially took the big hit when he sold his car? You must remember that Saab lays in the near luxuary market, people who pay $30k up on their cars usually intend to only keep it for 3-4 years, then they move on to a newer car to keep with the jones. You have to bet that after 50k when people dump their cars at the dealers for trade, that their going to have problems, at the time their worth $around $20k, not many people want to spend $20k on a car that will give them headaches down the road. Personally for what I paid for my 94 Aero, I'm more then willing to throw a couple of $k to fix it, but if I had paid $43k, I would be really upset. We all love our cars, but why couldn't they have done a better job with quality control, I just don't get the swedes, they can do things that no other car makers can do, yet they can't even have the reliablity of a saturn, it makes no sense.
