One of the hot legs on my blower motor controller has an intermittent bad connection. Sometimes just reseating the connector makes it work.

I suspect I need to recrimp the wires with new female connectors. The one that is bad on mine ('91 CDT) is one of the thicker black ones. I've replaced the transistor, gone to a manual switch in the cabin as a temporary fix and ultimately replaced the controller. The connector is being held fast in the 'contact point' by cable ties currently.

Try hot-wiring the fan to the battery as another test, it will tell you whether the motor is shot or it is something in your controller. The lead to the blower motor is on the battery side of the blower motor in the aquarium. The controller is on the opposite side, near the bogbone bushing.
