That round plug with 6 small holes in it can be used as a "remote Starter" when working under the hood and want to turn over or start the engine . There ar 6 holes around the circumference , all but 1 have metal contacts . The one without is pin 6 . Locate this and #1 is next to it in an anti-clockwise direction . #5 is next to #6 in the clockwise direction then #4 ,#3 and #2 .
#1 = 12 volts
#2 = Ground
#3 = to term 50 on starter
#4 = to fuel pump relay
#5 = tach dwell hook up
#6 = blank no elect contact .
With the ign key off and the car in neutral shorting pin #3 to pin #1 will turn the engine over .
With the ign key on you can turn the engine over and start it BUT YOU MUST GO INSIDE THE CAR AND TURN OFF THE KEY TO STOP IT !
Make sur the handbrake is on and wheel chocks are in place.
