Haynes says that that is a Lamba sensor fault.

You have one sensor on that year.

Could be a bad sensor.
Could be low fuel pressure going lean at higher power levels.
- pump or fuel filter
Could be a bad O2 sensor
Could be bad O2 sensor wiring or sensor heater circuit
Could be that the sensor is not getting a good ground though the exaust system. Measure ohms with a good DMM from sensor base to ground clamp on battery. If resistive, find out where this occurs and reseat the sensor or down pipe clamp nuts etc. If not resistive, you may be needing a new sensor. 221K on the original sensor?

There are many related CEL codes, '6' does not tell the whole story. If you got the code read, it might be more specific. You do not have ODB-II, so the codes are not as rich as 1996+ production.

A bad engine ground cable can create an engine ground voltage offset driven by current from the alternator. The test above would tip to off to this I guess. You can start the engine and run lights, fans, seat heaters, rear windoe defroster etc, and change to measuring DC volts and look to see if the engine block has a voltage offset with the other probe on the battery ground -clamp- (not post).

Sensors from the dealer or Saab sensors are quite costly. There are alternatives.
