I would park and pump the brakes and then look for a drip somewhere. But, do not let the reservoir get dry as there may be a problem bleeding the lines effectively one air gets into the ABS unit. Look at soft parts first for leakage. That would be the rubber brake lines and caliper pistons.

There are the two rubber jacketed brake hoses at the front wheel that are easy to see. With your 4 channel ABS, there are two rubber brake hoses from the body to the rear axle. From the hose there are a hard pipes on the axle that runs to each caliper.

The rear caliper design is prone to failure from siezure. If you are going to repair brake lines in that area, check that the calipers pistons move ok and that the outer weather seals are not damaged in any way. You do not want to find that they are on the way out as you put the system back together and then have to go at it all over again with rebuilt calipers.

Leakage of fluid from the NC into the brake vacuum servo unit is quite rare and I can't recall any posts like that. However, when there is continuing loss of fluid and one cannot find where it goes, there is the possibilty of the leak going into the servo.

MC replacement is not difficult, but may be tricky in the crowded engine compartment. It can be done in a way that really reduces or eliminates introduction of air into the lines and the need to bleed.

As far as cleaning up brake fluid on any painted or rubber surfaces, it will rinse away completely with water. Consider brake fluid hostile to anything that it spills on.

A MC problem is typically the cup seals on the piston which will allow the petal to go to the floor. This does not create any loss of fluid, just a loss of braking. This can be intermittant at first, but always gets worse over time and is always very dangerous
