Many times when the exact problem and fault codes (and I mean EXACT) comes back after a repair, it is a misdiagnosed repair.

Keep in mind though that it is hundreds of different scenarios that can cause SIMILAR symptoms and fault codes.

Just because the customer states "now the same light is on again" doesn't mean the same problem is back. The same Check Engine light is used for hundreds of different fault scenarios.

It sounds like that the CKP sensor could be at fault now, but when that one fails, it doesn't trigger the car into limp home mode so, since you had a limp home mode problem and for sure some fault codes here and there. I'm fairly sure that it could have been a throttle body problem too, since they do go bad sooner or later.

The CKP sensor gets heat sensitive when going bad, so as hotter the car is, as more often it fails. When the car is cold, it works again. So to open the hood and speed up the cool down session will get your car going quicker.

Right after the car has stalled, you can measure the resistance over pin 1 and 2 on the CKP sensor. If it is much over 860 Ohm it is bad (like 1000-2000 or even open circuit). But you only have a couple of minutes after stalling at the most to do the measurements until the sensor is cooled down again and back to proper values

Or, you can get a new one and install it and see if the symptoms goes away.
